Getting Involved - Charity and Justice

Bereavement Ministry 

Supports parishioners who have experienced the death of a family member.

Blood Drive 

Plans, implements or works at the parish Blood Drive held once a year in May.

Child Care 9:15 Sunday Mass

Provides childcare for children 6 months to 4 years old. Adults and youth needed to serve.

Christmas Ministry 

Provides food and gifts for the needy families in the Milwaukee-Waukesha County area for the Christmas Holiday; assembles baskets on the third Saturday of December.

Communion to Homebound

Visits and brings communion to parish members that are homebound.

Crisis Ministry 

Supports parishioners in a time of crisis.

Dance for Persons with Disabilities

Provides a social outlet for developmentally disabled adults in the Milwaukee-Waukesha County area which takes place in the spring and fall.

Elizabeth Ministry 

Celebrates the gift of each child conceived and born and fully mourns each miscarriage and infant or child death. Facilitates an annual drive to collect baby items and monetary donations for local pregnancy help centers.

St. Vincent de Paul Ministry 

Visits needy individuals and their families, offering financial and/or spiritual aid, and establishing personal contact.

Linden Grove Visitation

Visits with parish members that are homebound, in a group home or nursing home and takes the Eucharist to them. Provides fellowship through music, prayer and scripture reading at Linden Grove Nursing Home the second Friday of the month from 10am-11am.

Mental Health Ministry

Provides support for those that are challenged with mental illness. A faith based support group meets monthly (except July & August) on the third Tuesday of the month.

Prayer Shawl Ministry 

Knits and crochets a prayer shawl to create a visible expression of the parish’s support for a parishioner in need. 

St. Vincent de Paul Meal Program

 Six times per year on the 3rd Monday of the month.

Phone Contact - Calls to a list of donors for food items for the programs meal 6 times a year.

Food Preparation & Donation - Donates food items (meat loaf, canned potatoes, fresh fruit, or dessert) for the meal program that is sponsored by the parish 6 times a year on the third Monday of the month at the St. Vincent de Paul Meal Ministry-Madison Street location.

Serving - Serves at the St. Vincent de Paul meal site six times a year month. Provides food for the needy in the Milwaukee area through the St Vincent de Paul Ministry—Madison St location.
