Altar Linens
Wash and press liturgical linens.
Art & Environment
Enhances our worship space for the various liturgical seasons, i.e. Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Ordinary Time.
Eucharistic Minister
Distributes the body or blood of Christ for weekend liturgies.
Funeral Minister
Provides for the ministries needed for a funeral during the day and/or evening, e.g. ushers/greeters, cantors, musicians, acolyte, readers, Eucharistic Ministers and sacristans. The family may provided some of these ministers themselves.
Greeter
Welcomes those who come to pray and distributes prayer sheets and bulletins.
Lector
Prepares and proclaims the assigned readings and general intercessions at weekend liturgies.
Prayer Network
Prays for anyone requesting personal prayers for any reason.Sanctuary CleaningCleans and prepares worship space for weekend liturgies.
Sacristan
Arrives 30 minutes before mass to help coordinate servers and insure all the preparations are completed for the celebration of our weekend liturgies, e. g. candles, hosts, wine, gifts, chalice, communion cups, lectionary, sacramentary, purificators, water cruet; assists with clean up after mass.
Server
Serves as weekend liturgies. Fifth grade and older girls and boys are welcomed.
Usher
Welcomes those who come to pray, distributes prayer sheets, assists in finding seating as needed, gathers the collection and brings it to the altar, directs the communion procession, provides assistance as needed, distributes bulletins, and ensures the church is ready for the next service.
Music Ministries
Cantor
Lead the assembly’s singing and proclaims the psalms at liturgies. Audition and ongoing formation required. Rehearsals on the first Monday of the month at 6:30pm.
Choir
Lead and enhance assembly’s singing at Sunday Mass & special liturgical celebrations. Rehearsals are held every Thursday, September-May at 7:15 pm.
Funeral Choir
Lead and enhance assembly’s singing at funerals.
Hand Bell Choir
Rings hand bells for worship for Christmas and Easter seasons. It is required that one can read music and be of high school age or older.
Instrumentalist
Provides instrumental leadership during worship and rehearsal. Please specify instrument.
