Recommended Reading
In cooperation with St. Leonard Parish School, we offer our students and parents ideas for age-appropriate books. The reading levels on these lists vary, as does the reading levels of our students. Our middle school students are encouraged to read through the 40 book challenge, battle of the books (5th and 6th grades) and genre assignments. The following lists are designed to help students choose books to meet their goals.

November 2008 Reading Recommendations Grades K4 - 8th Grade
In addition, book lists by genre help middle school students find great books to read according to their interests and to fulfill a genre reading assignment. Genre lists are updated at least once/year.
