Holy Apostles School Commission

The School Commission is one of the sub-committees of the Parish Council. The committee advises the principal and supports the school staff in providing a quality Catholic education by developing policies that promote a cooperative family, school and parish relationship. Membership is through invitation.

Purpose and Overview

  • Ensure the goals and objectives of the school meet or exceed the standards of the Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation]
  • Advance the Educational Mission of this Catholic School
  • Communicate the goals, objectives and activities of the Holy Apostles School to the Parishes, Families, and the greater communitywith the Communities it serves (Parishes, Families, Students, greater community)
  • The Environment for Teaching and Learning is one of care, respect, and trust for everyone. Social and academic growth are continuous.
  • Ensure and Support Qualified Staff
  • Provide for a Learning environment which encourages the learner’s development of critical and creative thinking skills, problem solving ability, and performance skills.
  • Make available Materials and Resources for learning
  • Support Student Services to the Learner
  • Develop and Advance the Long Range Plan
    • Establish the long and short term objectives of the school
  • Provide guidance and feedback to the school principal and administration
  • Ensure all opinions are heard and considered
  • Ministry will be comprised of 5-7 members in addition to the school principal and Pastor
