Faith is not one size fits all. Jesus came so that we can have our own personal relationship with Him! Youth Discipleship creates opportunities for teens to discover who Jesus is and how to develop that relationship. Growth happens through prayer, service, and small group interactions. Teens will have a chance to ask questions about their faith and learn how to live out their mission of being a disciple of Jesus Christ.

High School is such an exciting time for teens as they start to take ownership of their faith journey. Youth Discipleship is here to help your teen find a path to walk with Jesus by their side. Youth are guided through the practice of our faith and develop habits of discipleship. We grow in community through small group discussion and service. We also offer opportunities to join other Catholic youth from around the state and country through events like the Wisconsin Catholic Youth Rally and the National Catholic Youth Conference.

Many teens have questions about our faith. ALPHA Youth is a 10-week program that helps teens find answers to those important questions, while building their faith community.
Youth who would like to prepare for Confirmation must complete ALPHA Youth in the Fall of their 10th grade year, before beginning preparation for Confirmation (which runs from January – October).
Registration for ALPHA Youth takes place when you register for Confirmation Preparation and must be completed by
September 1, 2021.
Youth registered in Holy Apostles Middle School Youth Discipleship or Family Discipleship are also eligible to participate in the Holy Apostles Athletic program. Our school offers volleyball, basketball, and track.
Click here for more information about our athletic program.
PLEASE NOTE: The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has canceled the Fall volleyball season and Winter Basketball season. A decision will be made in the Spring regarding the Track season.
When we are baptized, we are adopted by the Father and given the opportunity to participate in Christ’s role as Priest, Prophet, & King. Through Confirmation, God completes our Baptismal grace and deepens our call to live this three-fold mission. This is not a rite of passage or graduation from religious education. It is a sacrament of mission and power, giving Christians the strength and grace to live out the mission of Jesus Christ and His Church.
During Confirmation Preparation youth learn about the Sacrament through both large & small groups, retreats, and service. There are two periods of preparation for the sacrament: remote and immediate.
Remote preparation refers to the years leading up to receiving the sacrament with formation occurring within the parish, family, school, and community settings. Young people should enter the Confirmation Preparation program with a foundation in the faith. Youth who would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation should also participate in ongoing formation through attendance at a Catholic School, or participation in our High School Youth Discipleship.
Immediate preparation focuses on the Sacrament of Confirmation itself and takes place in the time directly preceding the celebration. This is known as Confirmation Preparation.
Youth begin Confirmation Preparation in the fall of their Sophomore year by participating in ALPHA Youth. This program helps youth discover their own voice, allows them to ask questions, and form faith communities of their own. Their journey continues in January of their Sophomore year as they begin the immediate preparation
Candidates can register for Confirmation Preparation to be celebrated in 2022 if they have met the following requirements:
Have been baptized
Have reached the age of 15 by September 1, 2021
Participate in ALPHA Youth in the fall of their 10th grade year.
Have attended a Catholic School or Youth Ministry Small groups for the year prior to and including the year of preparation.
Registration is required by September 1, 2021. The cost is $185.
