Faith is not one size fits all. Jesus came so that we can have our own personal relationship with Him! Youth Discipleship creates opportunities for teens to discover who Jesus is and how to develop that relationship. Growth happens through prayer, service, and small group interactions. Teens will have a chance to ask questions about their faith and learn how to live out their mission of being a disciple of Jesus Christ.

High School is such an exciting time for teens as they start to take ownership of their faith journey. High School Youth Discipleship is here to help your teen find a path to walk with Jesus by their side. Youth are guided through the practice of our faith and develop habits of discipleship. We grow in community through small group discussion and service. We also offer opportunities to join other Catholic youth from around the state and country through events like the Wisconsin Catholic Youth Rally and the National Catholic Youth Conference.

11/12th Grade High School Discipleship Small Groups: Youth who have been Confirmed or are in 11th and 12th grade are invited to continue their faith journey together through small group discussions, service and other outings as planned within the group. When we are baptized, we are adopted by the Father and given the opportunity to participate in Christ’s role as Priest, Prophet, & King. Through Confirmation, God completes our Baptismal grace and deepens our call to live this three-fold mission. This is not a rite of passage or graduation from religious education. It is a sacrament of mission and power, giving Christians the strength and grace to live out the mission of Jesus Christ and His Church.
Teens can register for Confirmation Preparation on Friday, July 1, 2022. The cost is $185. Confirmation is to be celebrated in 2023 if they have met the following requirements:
Have been baptized
Will reach the age of 15 by September 1, 2022
Will participate in Youth Discipleship Small Groups fall of 2022 (both Catholic and Public School Youth)
Have attended a Catholic School OR Youth Discipleship Small Group for the year prior to and including the year of preparation. (2021-22 and 2022-23)
Parent informational meetings will take place on Sunday, June 12 and Wednesday, June 29 from 6:30-7:30pm in the Welcome Center. These meetings are for parents of potential candidates to discuss the preparation process and get ideas on how to help teens discern if they are ready to prepare to receive this Sacrament.
To sign up to attend one of these meetings, please visit this link. This meeting is for parents only, youth should not attend. If you are not able to attend either meeting, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will find an alternate time to meet.
