Confirmation Retreat

The Holy Apostles Confirmation candidates had an amazing opportunity to participate in their Confirmation Retreat at the Catholic Ecology Center on June 16 and 17, 2025. During the retreat they participated in a variety of activities that revolved around the theme of nurturing their relationship with God, others, and nature. Some of their favorite activities were the Ecology hike that incorporated Scripture and reflection time, multiple team building activities, a visit to the chicken, goat and pig coop, and a refreshing river walk. Fr. Arul joined us for the festivities by giving a talk on “Finding your Joy”. The youth also had the opportunity to go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Adoration, and celebrate the Eucharist, thanks to Fr. Arul.

 

The youth embraced the retreat with open hearts and minds. I was so proud of them. A big shout out to the parents for their donations, to the youth Confirmation leaders who went along to support the youth, and finally to all the parishioners who kept us in their prayers.
