Archbishop Listecki and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee have asked each parish to participate in the Love One Another Capital Campaign. The archdiocesan-wide campaign goal is to raise $150 million, with a plan for the money to strengthen every parish, increase vital ministries serving thousands each year, support education and formation for our children, grow charitable outreach of the Church to those in need and support our priests, deacons, seminarians, and lay ministers.

Holy Apostles will participate in Wave 3 of the campaign, starting in spring 2023.

 
All parishes have been asked to participate in the five-year campaign as part of the greater catholic community and to support our local community and beyond. Each parish has their own individual goal.


 Holy Apostles’ Goal Amount = $2,722,986 


$1,089,194 or 40% of the goal amount goes to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. You may view the plan for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee share of the campaign funds here: Love One Another Campaign Goals
 

 $1,633,792 or 60% of the goal amount is our parish share of the campaign funds. 
 

Over the past 167 years of our existence in New Berlin, our parishioners have always supported parish community and prepared for future generations. View the Holy Apostles history. What do we want Holy Apostles to be for the next generation?

Through prayerful review and discussion by our Parish Leadership and staff, Pastoral Council, Finance Council, School Commission, and ministries of the opportunity for the campaign to grow our mission to Love God. Love Others. Transform Our World., strengthen our school and parish, and care for our facilities, along with the feedback received from our Visioning Together sessions and survey feedback, Holy Apostles’ share of the campaign funds will be directed to the following:

  • Youth and Young Adult Initiatives – Investing in curriculum for leadership development, enhanced meeting spaces for young adults, technology to improve communication and organize events which build relationships through socials, sacraments and services 

  • Buildings and Grounds Improvements – improving the accessibility and energy efficiency of the parish by renovating the school bathrooms to be ADA compliant, replacing classroom windows to improve temperature control, and embracing Laudato Si’ – Care for Our Common Home.  

  • Evangelization and Outreach – supporting community partners and expanding our evangelization initiatives

The campaign is our opportunity to grow our mission, take care of our facilities, prepare for the next generation and have an impact on the greater Catholic community. We need your continued support and commitment to continue our mission of forming disciples and to help grow ministries here and in the community. In the coming months, each family will be asked to make a pledge payable over the next five years.

Help us to live as stewards of your grace and love, that through prayerful work and sacrifice we may bring your love to our families, parish, and community. We humbly pray for strength and fortitude to follow your great commission: to go make disciples of all people, living our faith through word and deed. Inspire in your people generous hearts to strengthen the mission of our parish, to serve those in need, to support vocations, and to educate our children through the Love One Another Campaign. Guide us in this important campaign, watch over our efforts to help build your Kingdom here on Earth, and give us joy in serving You and Your Church
