Millions of Monicas
Praying with confidence for our children, First Monday of every month, 7:00 pm, in Church. The next meeting is Monday, October 6th (none in September). Many of us have children who are struggling to embrace their Catholic faith or have left the church entirely. Like St. Monica, as mothers we persevere in prayer for their joyful return to full unity with the Catholic Church. We are not a support group or a self-help group.
Join with other mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, Godmothers, Aunts and women with a motherly heart, as we pray to grow in holiness and humility, and for our children's faithful return or continued practice of the Catholic faith.

Mercy Mats
Be the hands of Jesus and make Mercy Mats for MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary. Many hands are needed to create these mats made of plastic grocery bags. We need people to sort and flatten plastic bags, cut the bags into strips, and loop the strips together and roll into balls called plarn (plastic yarn).
Those who can crochet will use the balls to make the mats. We have supplies, but you may bring your own bags, scissors and crochet supplies. Childcare is not provided; children/teenagers are welcome to help. For information, contact Kris Kodaski at kkodaski@aol.com. DATES LISTED BELOW!

Spiritual Adoption Prayer Program
The Spiritual Adoption Prayer program will be celebrated at Holy Apostles Parish starting in May 2025 for nine months.
All that is needed is to pray a daily prayer written by Venerable Fulton J. Sheen for a preborn child of God:
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much! I beg you to spare the life of baby (insert the name you have chosen for your spiritually adopted baby), the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted, who is in danger of abortion.
Please pray this simple prayer every day for nine months. Prayer cards will be available in the Welcome Center on the Respect Life Ministry (RLM) easel and/or table. RLM meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Peter Conference Room. All are welcome!
