Lent Journey: A Welcoming Heart
Do we reflect God’s gracious hospitality, love, and justice for everyone? Join us for the Becoming Welcoming Communities 5-week series, designed to help congregations respond to immigrants and immigration in light of Biblical faith with a welcoming heart. Sessions weave together Bible passages, Wisconsin immigration history, personal stories, and suggestions to support today’s refugees and immigrants. This is a Lenten collaboration offered by Holy Apostles, St. Luke and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parishes. Choose from two sets of dates. Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are always welcome. Sign up below for your choice of day and location.
Matthew: The King and His Kingdom
Matthew: The King and His Kingdom, a twenty-four-part video Bible study from Ascension Press featuring Jeff Cavins and Sarah Christmyer, explores how Jesus is challenging and empowering us to a new level of holiness and shows how we must be thoroughly immersed in the kingdom of heaven on earth, the Church, to live it.
Meetings continue on Tuesdays from 8:30 am to 10:00 am in the Parish Welcome Center. Participants will meet every week [January 13 – March 24; (Holy Week and Easter Break); April 14 – May 19; and September 8 – October 20, 2026] to view an engaging video presentation followed by a time of lively group discussion and fellowship. This Scripture study will coincide with the Gospel of Matthew read during the Liturgical Season beginning in Advent.
The cost per person will be $30.00 to help offset the cost of participant materials for our study of Matthew. To register please click below! For more information contact Jo Ann Hagner at (262) 844-6652 or Mary Chmielewski at (414) 313-3755.
Lenten Service Project-Food Packing
This year, once again we are partnering with Cross Catholic Outreach to help fight hunger by hosting a food packing event on Saturday, March 14, from 8:30 am-1:30 pm in the school gym. We invite family and friends to come together as a community to pack 80,000 Vita food meals that will be shipped to the poorest of the poor around the World. Please note we will be having two time slots available for volunteers to pack between 8:30 am-10:30 am: or 11:00 am-1:30 pm. We need volunteers not only to pack meals, but for specific roles to help the event run smoothly. These roles include greeters, registration, and heavy lifters. Click below to find out where to register. Please no walk-ins.

Those who can crochet will use the balls to make the mats. We have supplies, but you may bring your own bags, scissors and crochet supplies. Childcare is not provided; children/teenagers are welcome to help. For information, contact Kris Kodaski at kkodaski@aol.com. DATES LISTED BELOW!

Join with other mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, Godmothers, Aunts and women with a motherly heart, as we pray to grow in holiness and humility, and for our children's faithful return or continued practice of the Catholic faith.
