PARISH EVENTS
Mercy Mats
Be the hands of Jesus and make Mercy Mats for MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary. Many hands are needed to create these mats made of plastic grocery bags. We need people to sort and flatten plastic bags, cut the bags into strips, and loop the strips together and roll into balls called plarn (plastic yarn). Those who can crochet will use the balls to make the mats. We have supplies, but you may bring your own bags, scissors and crochet supplies. Childcare is not provided; children/teenagers are welcome to help. For information, contact Kris Kodaski at kkodaski@aol.com. Click below on "More Dates" for more information and meeting dates!
Mothers & Munchkins Ministry
Meet moms and littles at our low stress and no prep bi-weekly hang out. We let the kids play while we drink coffee/tea and talk about God and what He is putting on our hearts. If you can’t join during the morning, know that you are welcome to attend our MNO (Mom Night Out) events throughout the year such as game night, and beer garden. We can’t wait to meet you and walk with you through this season of motherhood. Please contact Ashley Grebe at (414) 651-2068 or agrebe27@gmail.com with any questions.

Millions of Monicas
Praying with confidence for our children, First Monday of every month, 7:00 pm, in Church. The next meeting is Monday, June 2nd. Many of us have children who are struggling to embrace their Catholic faith or have left the church entirely. Like St. Monica, as mothers we persevere in prayer for their joyful return to full unity with the Catholic Church. We are not a support group or a self-help group. No sensitive information is shared. We believe that by coming together monthly, uniting our hearts and voices praying together, we can bring strength and joy to each other. We want to encounter God through prayer for ourselves and our children.
Join with other mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, Godmothers, Aunts and women with a motherly heart, as we pray to grow in holiness and humility, and for our children's faithful return or continued practice of the Catholic faith.
Grief Support
The next Grief Support Meeting is on Monday, June 9, from 6:30-8:00 pm. This is an opportunity for you to share your story of grief in a safe and supportive environment. We offer comfort, friendship, and many resources. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Holy Apostles Welcome Center. Do you have questions or need additional information? Please contact Michelle Ray at (414) 333-0330 or Ruthann Castelaz at rcastelaz@gmail.com, or (414) 405-4564.

Lectio Divina: A Sacred Prayer Practice
Are you searching for deep union with God? Come and join us! Every Saturday of the month at 8:30 am in the Barnabas Room in the Welcome Center. No need to register just join us!
"Lectio Divina," or "sacred reading," describes a way of praying with the Scriptures, taking us from the mind to the heart, from words to silence. It is a journey inward, an invitation to encounter God in a deeply personal and transformative way. Lectio Divina involves four steps: 1. Lectio (Reading) 2. Meditatio (Reflection) 3. Oratio (Response) 4. Contemplatio (Rest)
For those who love silence, Lectio Divina can be a rich, hour-long experience. Practiced daily, it offers a path to growing in relationship with Christ, where Scripture becomes a living, guiding force within us.
Any questions feel free to reach out to Fr. Arul, aponnaiyan@hanb.org.

Spiritual Adoption Prayer Program
The Spiritual Adoption Prayer program will be celebrated at Holy Apostles Parish from September 2024 through May 2025.
All that is needed is to pray a daily prayer written by Venerable Fulton J. Sheen for a preborn child of God:
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much! I beg you to spare the life of baby (insert the name you have chosen for your spiritually adopted baby), the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted, who is in danger of abortion.
Please pray this simple prayer every day for nine months. Prayer cards will be available in the Welcome Center on the Respect Life Ministry (RLM) easel and/or table. RLM meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Peter Conference Room. All are welcome!
