Extended Care Assistant-Before/After School Program (Part-Time)
Holy Apostles Catholic School is seeking (3) part-time Extended Care Assistants in our Before and/or After-School program for the 2026-2027 School Year. Looking for passionate and energetic individuals that are excited to work with students from 3K-8th grade.
· Position hours for morning would be 6:45am – 8:15am, days school is in session
· Position hours for afternoon would be 2:45pm – 6:00pm, days school is in session
· Flexible schedule Monday through Friday
· Morning program consists of quiet time, breakfast, color or read prior to the start of school
· Afternoon program consists of a snack, weather permitting time outdoors to play, crafts, play with other students, games, etc.
· Need an adult over the age of 18 who can open and set up at 6:45am for the morning program, and close at 6:00pm for afternoon program.
Responsibilities
The Extended Care Assistant will assist with the supervision of children to ensure a safe, caring and welcoming environment for young children and their parents.
· Ensure students are orderly and acting appropriately.
· Contribute to the children’s sense of self-worth as a Christian person.
· Effectively perform activities assigned that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of the children.
· Directs movement of students to and from various areas of the building in a safe and organized manner.
· Maintain open lines of communication with children and their parents.
· Responds to emergency situations (injured students, disagreements, etc.) for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
· Having completed or willing to complete the Safeguarding All God’s Children certification.

Substitute Teacher (Temporary)
Holy Apostles School is seeking a short-term Substitute Teacher to teach in grades 3K through 8th. The Substitute Teacher will work in the absence of our regular teachers/aides, assisting students in their daily tasks and helping ensure the understanding of the subject matter being covered. This position possesses the skills needed to cover daily instruction and run the classroom environment in an orderly fashion.
Responsibilities
- Follow regular teacher’s lesson plans in a way that ensures consistency and optimal learning, and that encourages students to participate.
- Assign classwork and homework as necessary, according to lesson plans
- Modify teaching styles to fit the learning styles of various students
- Maintain a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment
- Supervise students out of class such as in the hallways and in the cafeteria
- Comply with all procedures, guidelines, and policies of the school at all times
- Maintain a professional attitude in all manner of conduct with students, faculty, and parents, including a commitment to confidentiality
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will be committed to the values of Catholic education, possess a valid Wisconsin teaching or substitute teaching license and be driven to meet the needs of all learners.

Playground Supervisor (PT)
Holy Apostles Catholic School has an immediate opening for a part-time Playground Supervisor. The position hours would be 11:15am-1:00pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, per week when school is in session. The qualified candidate is responsible for overseeing the daily afternoon recess periods (outdoor or indoor) and supervising students to ensure a positive and safe environment.
Responsibilities
· Supervises students at playtime and maintains a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts.
· Instruct recess duty volunteers on playground rules and expectations.
· Directs movement of students to and from the playground in a safe and organized manner.
· Responds to emergency situations (injured students, conflicts, etc.) for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
· Ability to work outside from August through June.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will be committed to the values of Catholic education, have experience working with children, be driven to meet the needs of all learners and having completed, or willing, to complete the Safeguarding All God's Children certification
