4K School Aide

Holy Apostles Catholic School is seeking a part-time 4K School Aide for the 2022-23 school year.  The qualified candidate is responsible for assisting the teacher in the implementation of daily activities that are appropriate to development level of the children.  The aide will assist in the care and protection of the children in order to maintain a safe environment conducive to each child’s growth and development.

This is a one-year term position, with 25 hours per week.  

  • Enthusiasm, energy, and passion for working with early childhood students

  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and staff

  • Strong desire to work collaboratively with families and staff

  • Ability to keep multiple projects moving and on target

Qualifications 

  • Committed to the values of Catholic education 

  • Associate/Bachelor degree in Education or related field is preferred

  • Early Childhood and Special Education licensing or experience is preferred 

  • Having completed or willing to complete the Safeguarding All God’s Children certification 

  • Driven to meet the needs of all learners

Mission Coordinator: Communications

Holy Apostles Catholic Parish is seeking a Mission Coordinator: Communications to lead and oversee the parish’s communications and brand management, that promote opportunities to grow in faith and grow in relationship with Jesus.
 

This is a part-time position, with 24-29 hours per week.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and release communications (print/bulletin, electronic communications, digital/website/marque, social, TV display, etc).

  • Website and social management, maintenance and analytics.

    • Maintain the Holy Apostles Parish website.

    • Distribute communications via social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

  • Brand management to ensure clarity and consistency in all communications

  • Collaborate with parish and school staff on various events in developing a proper communication plan

  • Maintain event calendars

 

Qualifications

  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Publisher, and Adobe InDesign

  • Social media and online tools knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, marketing or related field of study

  • Detail orientated with strong organizational and design skills

  • Ability to pivot, reprioritize and manage time to serve members and meet deadlines

  • Having completed or willing to complete the Safeguarding All God's Children certification class

Substitute Teacher (Temporary)

Holy Apostles School is seeking a short-term Substitute Teacher to teach in grades 3K through 8th.  The Substitute Teacher will work in the absence of our regular teachers/aides, assisting students in their daily tasks and helping ensure the understanding of the subject matter being covered.  This position possesses the skills needed to cover daily instruction and run the classroom environment in an orderly fashion.

  • Follow regular teacher’s lesson plans in a way that ensures consistency and optimal learning, and that encourages students to participate.

  • Assign classwork and homework as necessary, according to lesson plans

  • Modify teaching styles to fit the learning styles of various students

  • Maintain a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment

  • Supervise students out of class such as in the hallways and in the cafeteria

  • Comply with all procedures, guidelines, and policies of the school at all times

  • Maintain a professional attitude in all manner of conduct with students, faculty, and parents, including a commitment to confidentiality

 

The qualified candidate will be committed to the values of Catholic education, possess a valid  Wisconsin teaching or substitute teaching license and be driven to meet the needs of all learners.​
