Planning Your Ceremony
Planning your wedding liturgy should be a fun a joyous task! We invite you to dive into this process together. The first step for planning your liturgy will be to pick up a Wedding Liturgy Planning Packet from the parish office. This packet will have all of the information you need to get started!
-
Fill out the LEFT SIDE of the Wedding Liturgy Planning Sheet using the United in Christ book to select your readings.
-
Schedule a Liturgical Consult with our Director of Liturgy and Music, Christina Kuenzi, three-four months before your wedding date. At this meeting, you will select all of the music for your wedding liturgy.
-
At the meeting with Christina, you will complete the RIGHT SIDE of the Wedding Liturgy Planning Sheet.

Wedding Musicians
You have two main options when it comes to the musicians who will play for your wedding liturgy:
-
HA Music: With this option, Holy Apostles will provide an accompanist (pianist/organist) and cantor (singer) for a base fee. If you would like additional musicians with this option, our Director of Liturgy and Music will arrange for them as well; however, there will be an additional fee for each extra musician.
-
Outside Musicians: With this option, the couple is responsible for arranging all musicians, singers, etc. for the wedding liturgy and will be responsible for paying the musicians directly. Holy Apostles will also charge a “Bench Fee” for use of our facilities, instruments, and equipment. Please Note: Even if this option is selected, all music for the liturgy must be approved by the Director of Liturgy and Music at the Liturgical Consult.

Programs
Holy Apostles does not provide programs or printouts for wedding ceremonies. All of the prayers, music, etc. will be projected onto two large screens in the church during the ceremony. If you would like a program or printout, you are free to provide them independently.
